Scot Cameron went to school in Paisley and took his veterinary degree at Glasgow University, qualifying in 1980. He originally worked in mixed, mainly farm practice, first in mid-Wales for six years, then a further six years in New Zealand. He returned to work in Scotland, increasingly in small animal practice. Cameron joined Iffley Vets in 2002, becoming a partner in 2010. Professional interests include soft tissue surgery and imaging, but he most enjoys the variety that general practitioner work brings. Married with two children, he has a Boxer cross and a tabby cat, enjoys a rare opportunity to go sailing, likes cooking, eating and movies, playing the piano (falteringly) and singing (badly).
